It is a building of creativity, managed and nurtured by the community of Panemunė, uniting open, creative people who follow the principles of sustainability and unity. Various cultural activities take place in the building. This hut is ideal for pilgrims as it is located on the main route of the Camino Lituano, close to Pažaislis Monastery. Before arrival, we invite all travellers to familiarize themselves with K.I.N.A.S. Panemunė declaration of sustainability, and to be guided by it during your stay.

​ In the hut, you can often meet one of the founders of this creative community house, Giedrius, who lives here. If you meet him, he will offer to prepare breakfast and eat together.

​

On the first floor you will find a shared kitchen. The building also has a workshop with many different tools for repairing equipment (e.g. a bicycle). If you would like to take advantage of the workshop, call the hut ranger Giedrius (+37061828752). There is also a clothes/other items exchange point in the hut, maybe you will need something for your further journey, then feel free to take it.

 

On the second floor there is a bedroom (a small hall) with a wood stove. 10 travellers can comfortably spend the night in it after taking mattresses from the storeroom and laying them out.  For an additional fee, a sleeping bag (with a cotton insert) can be rented. You will also be able to use warm blankets and pillows.

IMPORTANT:

1. You will find the QR code to unlock the door after entering the entrance hall, near the blue door. The front door of the building (for access to the entrance hall) is unlocked.

 

2. Recommended payment amount is from EUR 15 per person/night for this hut as it has many extra amenities - hot/cold water, shower, washing machine, indoor WC.

3. Giedrius, two friendly cats and small dog live in the building :)

4. When leaving, make sure you close the door with a combination lock firmly.

​

5. The entrances and interior of the hut are monitored by CCTV.
